With the help of local veterinarians, we've compiled several fact sheets packed with information on cat health and welfare, and legislation affecting cats, which we hope you'll find useful. There is also usually an article about cat welfare in our regular newsletter Langue des chats, sent free to members.

Vets in France, as in many other countries, are not allowed to promote themselves. Les Amis Des Chats will never recommend an individual vet.

If you need to find a vet we suggest you ask pet-owning friends or neighbours or consult the Yellow Pages (Pages Jaunes) on-line or in your phone book, or visit the website of the professional body for vets in France, l'Ordre des Vétérinaires - www.veterinaire.fr.
